This week's challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is to use an animal. Now the problem was what animal to choose - my selection of Marks Finest Papers stamps include quite a few animals. Neither of my cards turned out as planned but I think they are both OK.
My first card is inspired by South Africa and the elephants. I used the set called Wild and Free on this one.
My second card is inspired by one Michelle Zindorf did some time ago but is nowhere near as good. I used 3 stamps sets on this one North American Woods,Buffalo Spring,Marsh Silhouettes.
I did not get enough embossing powder on when I added the blue ink so the wolf got a little spoilt.
I left sentiments off both cards as I am unsure where they will go and for what occasions.
If you find some time this week please pull out your animal stamps and join our challenge. You will find it as challenge 91 on this page

FOSTV80 - Monochromatic Cards
Hello - sorry to be late posting today. Many of you know I am looking for a new job well today I had to go to the Job Centre so this morning I have been rather pre-occupied. I am looking for a morning role so I can do Maths Tutoring in the late afternoon and evenings. Somehow I will need to slot my card making in there too!
This week is a busy week for Marks Finest Papers. It is blog hop week as well as our normal challenges. Friends of Speedy TV have quite a "soothing challenge" this week - Monochromatic cards.
I have two cards to show you today.
The first one in shades of brown uses Marsh Silhouettes and the new dragonfly mini set being launched this week. The sentiment is from Hum Along.
My second card with a more wintry feel uses Tree Greetings, Winter Scenes and for the sentiment from Ice and Snow.
I hope you all have a good week and find time to play along with our challenge which can be found here. There is a prize up for grabs called From The Woods
