This is my last hop with MFP. I joined before it was a Heinrich company so it's been a while. I am sorry to be leaving completely, as this was never my intention. The closing of the FOSTV challenge following close on the heels of my decision to step down from the senior team has led to this place. I will certainly enjoy playing with all the other stamps I have accumulated.
I have added some other cards today to liven up my final MFP post.

Sorry just one outfit - Chuck will go in a shoe box and no war type stuff allowed.
I have added some more interesting eye candy too in the way of a card made for an upcoming Birthday. I have used TLC539 (Latch Card) and CAS330 (Stars / Stripes) as my inspiration along with the Island Life set.

MFP May Blog Hop - Day 4

I wasn't sure what to do with more trees but I came up with these two cards which both use some left over distress inks left from my watercolouring yesterday. They will be fine for little notes.

MFP May Blog Hop - Day 3
Welcome to the MFP Stamp Shop May Blog Hop
This month's new Stamp Set Releases are:

I had some fun with today's set. I ended up with two cards - one using a glass vase and the other two pots.
For my first card with the vase I used flowers from the set called Lots of Words. I used some Card Candi and a border punch.
For my second card I also needed to pull out the Bring on the Sun stamp set. I am not sure if anyone in the USA knows of Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men - a TV show when we were kids - Black and White and you can see the puppet strings! As you can imagine they were made of flower pots and were called Bill and Ben. The flower was called Little Weed. They lived in two big pots at the bottom of the garden and got up to their antics when the gardener wasn’t around. It was a program (part of our Watch with Mother series) that used to be on the TV when we were kids. It was all so innocent! My brother gets this card when he turns 60 later in the year.
This card was watercoloured.

My card today started with the little fox and some Copics. I then decided to play with an old dictionary page and some Brushos. Originally this was going to be a test page but in the end it became part of my card. I embossed it with a hessian embossing folder - one of my current favourites.

This card today uses the trees as a backdrop to my "kids" lined up in pairs.
Yes they are Meerkats.
Our niece has just got a new teaching post for September in an infant school where outdoor actvities get extra focus. We are of course thrilled for her!
The blue panel is embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder which I won recently.
