The Christmas card challenge for February was to include people in your cards. I stamped lots of images but seem to be running at snail's pace getting them coloured or just turned into cards. Here are a few more simple cards I made.
Thanks for stopping in - have a great day

February Christmas Cards
Sadly I am already behind despite choosing simple designs for my cards for February. Cards with people is the theme this month and I have several more images to colour but here are the ones I have made so far
I used this months High Hopes sketch for this card but missed the date!

High Hopes Guest today & July CCC15
I have a card today on the High Hopes blog as I was a recent winner of their monthly challenge. They have some cute stamps and are currently running a blog hop so there are prizes to be won.
My card uses SC552 sketch and lots of red and white for July CCC15 along with the cute Santa - Motorin By Santa from High Hopes.
Thanks for looking - more July CCC15 cards soon!

Placemat Snowman
I often check out the Saturday Inspiration challenge at Splitcoaststampers and the inspiration website stays open for days and no inspiration hits. Well this weekend I was inspired by this cute snowman and the High Hopes snowmen I have came to mind. Some Copic colouring, paper piecing, doodling and background colouring with Pan Pastels - this is my card
One more to add to my 2015 collection.

Snowmen - lots of them
Not sure what you call a bunch of snowmen but I have them here. These are the rest of my CCC15 cards for February. March cards can start once I have my tags done. I have used the Sweet n Sassy and High Hopes snowmen on simple cards with just a few dies.
Thanks for checking these out!

HHC152, JUGS281 & CCC15 February 2
I am making snowmen cards right now as that is the CCC15 challenge for February and the month is almost done.
For this card I used one of my cute High Hopes snowmen and this week's JUGS colours. The colours are better in real life but it is so grey today I had to use the light and a lamp!
I am entering it in the JUGS and High Hopes challenges
Here is another view
Thanks for looking and if you have enough snow for a snowman I hope spring finds you soon.

Giraffe Thank You
MFP Blog Hop - see post below - thank you
This card is a thank you for a lovely lunch I enjoyed this week. It was a big 3 course lunch and therefore ended up as a substitute for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed it but it did mean hubby's Birthday meal had to be postponed! I was just expecting some smoked salmon with salad after a conversation with my hostess but I was shocked at how busy she had been for our little group. The group that gathered were a few people that met doing the shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. In the lounge she has a beautiful tall and elegant giraffe and hence the inspiration for today.
I am entering the card in 2 challenges - Word Art Wednesday 168 and High Hopes 151. The yellow choice was because several of us took yellow flowers to the lunch. Dies were used and the flowers were sprayed with a Glimmer mist. The centres of the flowers are yellow/orange to match the paper but they don't look it in the photo.
Thank you for checking by and have a lovely weekend.

High Hopes 250 & WT515 Maths Notes
Hi everyone - sorry I have been quiet - broken laptop means everything related to PCs takes longer and preparing for my lessons and dealing with email has taken all my computer time.
One of my Maths students is my niece Karita and I bought this notebook in a sale and today decorated it up for her. I used the High Hopes bookworm with letters cut with Cuttlebug dies. I used an oval to fit my pink on navy panel. The bookworm was mainly coloured in a style used by Jane Gill at the Craft Barn today - she was doing some lovely work with flower stamps from Woodware. The border was cut with a wide border punch which I think is made by Martha Stewart.
This project is being entered into High Hopes challenge 250 and the Splitcoast Ways to Use it challenge WT515.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Back Monday.

High Hopes 248
This card started from the negative die cut. Carefully kept all the bits and laying them down on red card was my starting point. The image is a cute one from High Hopes and I coloured it with Copics. Sponged the background with Distress inks.
The High Hopes 248 challenge is an anything goes one with a High Hopes stamp.
Thank you for looking. Have a great week.

A little High Hopes Santa
I added another to my CCC15 cards for January today with this little High Hopes card. I used one Santa from the trio and popped him onto this star. Santa was coloured with Copics. The sentiment is computer generated. I am adding it to the High Hopes Challenge 247
Here is a closer look at Santa

High Hopes 246
Made this silvery snowman for the High Hopes challenge posted last Tuesday. I have several High Hopes Snowmen and they are adorable. I think this one is actually a snowlady!
I used Distress Ink and Distress Spray Stains. The tag die is from MFT.
A simple card and actually prettier in real life than it appears.
Thanks for looking.

HHC242 & JUGS267
High Hopes Winter Mittens and Jugs Colours were used on this quick Christmas card which uses a High Hopes image and a Spellbinders mittens die.
I used fibres on the bottom of the mitten die for added interest and texture. My new Spellbinders die was used for the background. Wishing you all a good week.

Brown, Blue and White
The Penny Black challenge for the month of September and the High Hopes challenge closing on Monday 15th both have the colours Brown, Blue and White as their challenge.
My cards are very different - serene countryside to crazy snowman.
First up is my Penny Black card - a simple country scene on a winter's day. Simple sponging and stamping with rounded corners.
My second card is for the High Hopes challenge. I used the cowboy image from High Hopes with some western additions from Waltzingmouse stamps. A Spellbinders embossing folder was used to create the wood-grain background. Copics were used for colouring.

Another Christmas Card - High Hopes Snowman
I don't normally work on coloured cardstock when stamping but as this is a single layer card I decided to do something different.
The High Hopes image was stamped in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then used Prismacolor pencils to colour him in. I created the snow at the bottom with my Versamark pen and more white embossing powder. I then framed the other 3 sides with sticky ribbon trying to keep it even and therefore a square. The snowflakes are stickers and the large ones have pearl centres. The holly on the snowman's hat has red pearl berries.
I love the High Hopes snowmen and this one I have had for quite a while.
