Even more Poinsettias in April

I continued to turn my cut out and coloured Poinsettias into cards and here are the next set of my April CCC15 cards. I used dies, embossing folders and some foam dots with a few greetings to make these simple cards.

Hope you have had a lovely weekend.

Poinsettia's in April

I have been making cards for the CCC15 challenge for April and the end of the month is fast approaching and not sure I will be done but here are the first 5 of my cards using the MFP lantern and MFP Poinsettias carefully trimmed.

I have incorporated a couple of other challenges too.

FOSTV163 - Creatures of the Night

Last FOSTV challenge
I would like to say I was going out on a high but the folding of the FOSTV challenge was only announced yesterday evening so I have nothing special prepared.

Our last challenge has the theme Creatures of the Night and I used the Owl nesting in a roof space for a New Home card.

I first started on the team in October 2011 and I have worked with a great team, and had wonderful support from them all. It feels quite sad posting on the MFP page for the last time so I do hope you will give the challenge a good send off and play along.

I will continue to post on my blog and on Splitcoast so please don't be a stranger.

FOSTV162 - Trifold Cards

This week's FOSTV challenge is to make a Trifold Card. There are lots of tutorials at Splitcoast stampers and I used one from there for this little card. I used Brushos on this and stamps from the Flower Blocks set. The photos show it both closed and open.

The details of the challenge can be found here. Please make a tri-fold card and join us. Don't forget to check out the cards made by the rest of the team.

Have a lovely and creative week.

Friends in Spring Colours - FOSTV161

This week's FOSTV challenge is to bring a touch of spring to our cards with some lovely
Spring Colours
I know the days for many are still grey and cold so adding some pretty colours is sure to cheer things up and I hope my card will bring a smile.  This is my first flowerpot card.

I used the Huge Blooms stamp set.

I hope spring will find you soon with some lovely flowers, sunshine and colours.  Don't forget to play along.

Good Friday Christmas Cards

Well what else do you do on a grey and wet Good Friday other than catch up on your March Christmas cards?  Yes that is how I spent this afternoon and part of the evening. I started the year well with my CCC15 challenge as far as the cards were concerned but I am now a bit behind and my tags need to progress.

I mostly played with Brushos, need more practice, but I also tried Monday's TLC challenge to just use card.  My card was a lovely pearlescent blue but it doesn't look it in the photo.

I used stamps from Chocolate Baroque and some tree dies on this group of cards.
