I don't send cards at Halloween as it is not an occasion we celebrate.  I don't deny sweets to local children but that is as far as we go.  Despite that I managed to make two cards with this set.

The first card took ages - fastening all those fibres to make a web was a labour of love and I decided to add the black glitter to make it stand out even more.  I wanted t add the sentiment Another Birthday to go with the Yikes but I could not find one!  I know where this is bound!

My second card uses leaves from Scenic Selections. some Spellbinders leaves and the broom from today's set.

For all those that commented on the lavender fields yesterday in my balloon card if you drop down to the bottom of this post I have added a few more photos of what is a fantastic spot in the summer.  The fragrance on a warm summer evening is amazing.

  2. Janine, I really like how you showed these very different ways of using the stamp set. Well planned and very creative. The spider one is super scary and the fall one is super fun. Great job! Hugz!

  3. Wow, Janine!! First, I am sooooo impressed that yesterday's bg was a photo!!!! What a fabulous way to make a totally one of a kind card! Next, Thanks so much for adding your gorgeous lavender field photos. Amazingly pretty! Does the air smell like lavender or is it only once the plant has been harvested? I had one small lavender plant and it didn't smell until I crushed it in my hands....just wondering if it's the same with the fields. Finally, Your cards are gorgeous! I love that spider!!!! I am not one to create many Halloween cards either but I have had to create a few. I LOVE your fiber webbing!!! Fabulous card. Your Fall card is perfect with those lovely leaves, great way to use the broom image!

  11. Wow, Janine, both of your card are wonderful. The first card is clearly a labor of love and lots of work - but, wow, it turned out amazing - I love it and so will the recipient! Thanks so much for sharing more pics of the gorgeous lavender fields. I think they would have to come and insist I leave at the end of their business day - because I would be sitting there enjoying the beauty of the fields. I think I might be adding this to my "bucket list" and thanks for letting us share your pictures.
