My first card uses the medallion with three different coloured embossing powders and a simple Thank you sentiment.
My second card uses the medallion again with embossing powder (white) but this time stamped after I had coloured and masked the rosebud from Love Remains. The sponging was done with Old Paper Distress Ink and I also stamped Cracked Hello over my sponging. My last touch was the little embossed pieces made using Spellbinders dies.
Your medallion cards are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love both of your cards Janine and the technique are superb! I like the way you have a bold card and then a delicate one using the same stamp....simply brilliant! TFS!
ReplyDeleteI too like both of your cards, but I like the 1st one with the great colours the most.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards turned out so nice...same stamped image but two great looking cards..well done
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. Such different designs using the medallion. I love that masked rose with the medallion in white - gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteWonderful. I can se that this stamp is quite versatile. Yours looks like a doily/ Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow very pretty cards that you made
ReplyDeleteAnd a very pretty stamp set
Two pretty cards. I especially like the second one with the rose backed with the white "doily." (BTW, I remember that acetate/glitter technique too! I might still have a piece of acetate in my craft room with some glitter glued to the back.)
ReplyDeleteLove that first card. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used this medallion stamp.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards; the second one is my favorite. Stunning embossed and stamped in white.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards...especially the second card!
