I have two cards to share with you today. This first card uses the featured set for today All Postal with a couple of other MFP sets. I have used the tiny flower from Ivy & Blossoms set in my "stamp" and the palm tree from Flamingos on Vacation. It is a very simple card.
My second card has as much inside as on the front. I used an embossing folder to create the "words" and used one of the Hummingbirds from Hum Along inside my stamp - I masked off the Happy Birthday from that image before inking so I just had the bird. Inside the card I have used the lighthouse image and sentiment from Island Life and the cracked earth from Cracked Hello. I used Memento to stamp the images, distress inks on the backgrounds and Copics for colouring in.
The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Love Script"
The mini stamp set we have for you this month is
"Big Cupcake"
You put so much work into the inside of the card. Whoever gets that card will be doubly blessed. Love the palm tree since I am in Florida. TFS!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful blend of stamp sets! Great design & layout.
ReplyDeleteThese are both very nice!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the other sets with this one. Very pretty cards!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards, you have done a wonderful job with this set. We both incorporated the Flamingo set with this one, how about that?
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I like the embossed script and the crackle background on the lighthouse card.
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the embossing folder on that first card! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the palm tree in the background of your first post card. Sending it from Hawaii.....Your second card is my favorite, really like how you used the script pattern on the outside, and the crackle on the inside. Love that hummingbird!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I like the embossed script on second your card too!
ReplyDeleteOh my! Fabulous cards! I have never used that palm tree yet...but I can see all sorts of potential pairing it with the post card set. You did an awesome job! LOVE your second card!!!! LOVE the full image in just the black outline on the inside!!! Terrific ideas!
ReplyDeleteJanine,
ReplyDeleteI am loving your postcard with the palm tree - it is so perfect - and gives a feel of some grand exotic destination! Your other card is lovely and the embossing is the perfect detail.
All the details and stamping you put into both of your cards. I enjoyed them both.

ReplyDeleteWow, Janine! Your creativity flew to the top with this set. Outstanding!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the script embossing folder to add the words to post card. I am going to have to try that sometime.
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas.
