Hello - it's Monday again and it is time for another Friends of Speedy TV challenge. This week you can all play along as the challenge is anything goes - so what are you waiting for - we would love to see what you create.
There is a prize on offer to one lucky participant of one of the MFP sets ad this week the set is called Christmas Bridge.
As this was an anything goes this week I used the opportunity to make a card using one of the new releases, On The Fly, for my Brother-in-Laws Birthday later this month. I used white embossing powder, lots of inks for sponging and then some H2Os on the fish to give them some shimmer.
I then decided to make another card in a completely different style, a further card to add to my Christmas collection. I made this one as a twisted easel card. I used the trees and sentiment from the All is Calm set, and the snowflakes from the Ice and Snow stamp set. I added glitter to the snowflakes and the flowers on the base.
These are both beautiful cards.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! Love the beautiful color you achieved behind your fish!!! Amazing! I love the soft look on your second one! Such pretty trees!!!
ReplyDeleteThe color on the fish card is wonderful! I love how delicate your trees look. It's amazing how the color of ink we choose to use changes the outcome.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards...love both. The Fishing card is my fave with those rich colors and sheen.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are wonderful! You really make fabulous masculine cards and I love this particular card with the fish!
ReplyDeleteOMG I so need some of the H2O's! Beautiful! The Twisted Easel is awesome!
