I bought this Hero Arts stamp when I last visited the
Glitter Pot in Sussex. I thought I would use it on lots of cards but so far this is the only one - mind you I have more ideas than time right now! The card is simple and uses this week's
CTD colours. I wouldn't normally use a pink sky for Christmas so I have deliberately gone for something different. The image is embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is from Verve.
Janine, I just love that stamp. I can see why you thought you would use it heaps. I'm sure you will. I saw a big pink/orange sun like that just the other day in my evening sky here. We've had bushfires all over Qld and the sky has been full of smoke. This creates the most spectacular sunsets. I looked up and found a MASSIVE fluoro orange ball in the pink and orange sky, amazing. Your card reminds me. :-)

ReplyDeleteJanine, this is lovely! It is an unusual colorscheme for Christmas but that's a big part of what makes it so good! Congrats on the shout out from the CTD.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous - The colours, as mentioned, are non-traditional for a Christmas card, but I bet they won't be now! It's so lovely and serene, and reminds me of all the wonderful things about the holiday season. The patterned paper is lovely. Congrats on your shout-out! :)
