FOSTV147 - Blue and Silver

Our last FOSTV challenge for 2014 is upon us, which must mean Christmas is not far away!  This challenge remains open until early January to allow time for people to get involved and play with this lovely colour combination.

I have made two projects with this mix but could have made more

My first item is a simple Christmas card with stencilled and stamped snowflakes.

 

My second project is a box decorated for a Birthday and if you scroll down a little you can see the contents for a young person.

FOSTV132 - Sympathy Card

Today is my last day in California.  We have had a great time and will be sad to leave. Our friends have spoilt us rotten and we have been to many places including the Old Town, Botantical Gardens, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Cordiano Winery and got to see fireworks for 4th July.  We have eaten more than we should, drunk more than we should, had many laughs and even laid garden mulch - what a blessing to have such good friends.

The theme for this week's FOSTV challenge is a little less up beat as the challenge is to make a sympathy card - we all need one at some stage so it is good to have one or two in our stash.  You can find details of the challenge here.

My card is relatively simple and uses stamps from one of this years releases called Oriental Joy.  We would love to see your creations and have you join us in this challenge.

The sentiment is sparkly and looks nicer in real life.

 

Tried to avoid adding too much dimension but I think the oval should have been mounted on foam dots.  The envelopes that go with these card bases are very tight fitting which is annoying when you want white space! The butterflies are sparkly too!
