FOSTV82 - No Designer Paper

A new week, still sunny and hot here in the UK but with thunderstorms on the way!  The grass could really do with some rain - the only green bits are the weeds!
My craft space is feeling a little neglected right now but with this heat and lacking mojo then I think it understands!!!  I do need to get back in there soon though.

The challenge this week at Friends of Speedy TV is to make a card (or other project) without using any designer paper.  My card just uses plain cardstock with the rose bud from Love Remains and a sentiment from the Lily of the Valley set.  Copics were used for colouring.

Please play along with our challenge - we love seeing your entries and there is always a prize up for grabs.  The challenge can be found over at Speedy TV on the Friends of Speedy TV challenge page - you will need to look out for challenge 82.

Have a great week everyone.

MFP Blog Hop - Special and Mini Sets

The Marks Finest Papers May Blog Hop starts tomorrow!

The special stamp set this month is "Marsh Silhouettes"

I have a couple of cards to show you today using this set.  A simple sympathy card and a scene created with several of the images.

The mini stamp set we have for you this month is "Lily of the Valley"

I have made three cards with this set - two for Anniversaries (it is that time of year!) and one for a Wedding.

My first centre step card I think!

As you can see I have given my Spellbinders dies a good airing and I also used Prismacolor pencils for some of my cards for a change from Copics.

Thanks for looking - please come back tomorrow when the real Blog Hop action begins!
