This week's challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is to make a card or other project using torn paper. I added another to my Christmas card collection. I used Distress Inks and the "Just a Note" set on the background torn piece. The lamp and sentiment are from the set called "Poinsettia Blooms".
The die for my fern is from Impression Obsession and I tucked it under my lamp. Please check out the challenge over at FOSTV and join us this week.
Thanks for popping in today - please come back the rest of the week as it is Blog Hop week. For a look at the 5th set and the mini released this month please see the post below.
Stunning way to use torn paper!!!!! Gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post for Veteran's Day too!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a warm and beautiful card! In France we have a holiday on 11th November and each village, town & city holds a commemorative service. Our village not only lays a wreath at the memorial statue but also on the graves of three young Canadian airmen who are buried in the cemetery. It is very moving. Your Christmas card sentiment will mean a lot to someone who holds this time of year with sadness.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Christmas card, love the torn panels behind the pretty lantern!! Great Veteran's Day tribute also!!
ReplyDeleteI love your card Janine, the torn papers look like warm streams of light, really pretty with the lamp image :)
ReplyDeleteThis is really beautiful Janine! I love the torn paper with the musical score and the fact that it is on the diagonal!
