MFP August Blog Hop (Day 4) - Wealthy Fish

August Blog Hop!

I am not at all happy with this card.  I was pleased with the glittery bamboo panel but I am not happy with the overall card layout.  I didn't have time to remake it but will try again with the same image on another occasion.

This one is stamped on some paper I found in my scrap tray and I quite like the subtle bamboo and other oriental images.  I grabbed a couple of elements from last months set "Be Virtuous"

I have one further oriental card to show you today made with elements from Lucky You and an old Spellbinders die I have had in my collection since I don't know when! I used a gold rub on paste to bring out the embossing.

    The black background card is beautiful! I love the look.
    The pagoda stamped on the printed paper is lovely. I love how you added the chops from Be Virtuous. Very nice.
    The fan card is very pretty. I wish I had that die. Very yummy with the gold highlights.

    Beautiful!!!! I think your first card is quite eye catching! Love the glitter! Your second is fabulous with the DP as background! I love that! That fan is gorgeous on your third and I love the pop of red! Great cards!

    I like the glittery bamboo...is that an embossing powder or actual glitter?
    I saw your second card and thought how what a sweet and subtle card.
    It's fun to use something you've had in your collection for a long time...gives a feeling of accomplishment.
