The special stamp set we have for you this month is:

I have a couple of cards to show today's set in use. For this first card I used double sided adhesive sheet and gilding flakes to create my shield - it looks far better in real life. I had to computer generate my version of the sentiment as armour was not spelt correctly for the UK.

ReplyDeleteGreat cards! When you enlarge the picture, you can see the detail on the shield, it looks very cool. I also think the use of the brick wall was clever, now why didn't I think of that?

Wonderful brick background on your second card! nice coloring on your castle. You added a sense of dimension on the castle with your coloring! I NEED to remember what you did here for future!

Fantastic cards! Isn't it terrible how things always look better in person than in a picture when a picture is all you can share. I love that you fixed the spelling, too.

ReplyDeleteYour embossed background are wonderful! It is so impressive to see the background paper and the embossed paper look like they are part of a set! And the shield looks like it is made of granite! Great cards!
