MFP Blog Hop - Fantastic Dogs

Happy New Year!!! Welcome to the first blog hop of 2013! We are so excited to share the great stamp sets we are releasing this month and the months to come. 



My card using the Fantastic Dogs set is quite a simple one.  I used Spellbinders dies, Copics, some nice doggy paper and some bakers twine on the bone.  The sentiment is from another MFP doggy set.

Late addition: Angela / Debbie posted the new Sketch with a Twist Challenge so I decided to use the other little dog from the set on a card using the sketch that was posted.  Now I am sorry but I could not colour the dog purple but I decided she could sit on some flowery purple paper - in case you didn't guess the challenge is to use Purples with the sketch.

    Janine, these are precious!!! Adorable DP on your first card! Love your circle die cut, that is super fun!!! Love how you tied twine around the bone!

    You are so fun! I am glad you didn't color the pup purple! :) Love the sketch and I love the picket fence on the sides of your card!

    To answer your question about what Storm thinks of all this attention I am paying to dogs....well...she treated it like she does ALL my cards....she jumped on the shelf and immediately knocked them all down! :)

    Two adorable cards. I really like your first card with the die punched out of the multi-colored paper - it looks grand for the BG of the pretty colored puppy. Your second card is lovely as well - and your adorable pup looks quite happy amongst the lovely shades of purple.

    Janine--when I saw your first card I said out loud "how cute!", then, I saw your second card. Oh my, you colored the 2nd card so wonderfully. Now, I can't choose a favorite! Love them both. TFS
