My second card uses the cowboy silhouette with some sponging. We don't actually have many cowboys in the UK and actually it is used as a derogatory expression for rogue traders who don't do a good job so I will have to be careful who I send this one too!

the first card is very different with a mexican look with the bottom markings and I like how nicely the shadowing shows on the orange background
ReplyDeleteWell, you sure proved that a masculine set can be used even for women! That feminine one is beautiful;love the bottom border. The second is pretty too!
ReplyDeleteWow! Janine, what a wonderful card and very creative doing the feminine look. I really like that. The next card is awesome with the shadowing. Great job using this set.
ReplyDeleteSuper cards today! I love the purple on the first and I am amazed at the wonderful shadowing on the second. Just awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love how you chose the purple to do your first card! It shows how you can use this set in a different way! Great cards!
ReplyDeleteLove the second card.
ReplyDeletewow Janine I love both of these cards-the shadow on your 2nd one is awesome and I love the girly look you created with the ride card
ReplyDeleteHow awesome to make both a feminine and masculine card with this new set!! WOW!
ReplyDeleteLove the feminine twist you took on this set - great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. Love your use of purple on the first card. I got a kick out of your comment about being careful on who to give the cowboy card to because of the meaning. I have heard that here in the east also...how times have changed since Gene, Roy and Maverick..even here!
ReplyDeleteWow, way to build a gorgeous feminine card out of a super masculine set. The shading on your second card is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYour first card is beautiful - I love the colors and florals. Your second card is awesome - it's sad that "cowboy" has a derogatory meaning in your area. Cowboys were usually heroes in the movies - i.e., John Wayne!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool are your cards. I love the shadow under the horseman. Your purple card is stunning, beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing a feminine card and very funny how the term cowboy can mean different things.
