Penny Black Inspire
The first stamps I had that were actually wood mounted were the cute ones from Penny Black. I still adore my cute images but decided to use one of the new Christmas images as the first one on my blog. The challenge this week on the Penny Black blog http://pennyblackinc.wordpress.com/is to be inspired by one of the design team cards so this is the card I chose Cathy's Deer Winter Scene. My card uses the same Penny Black Forest Friends Cling stamp but the deer are surrounded by pine trees (Stampin Up and StampScapes) The image is coloured with ProMarkers and the sky is airbrushed with the Letrajet. I am also entering this card in the ProMarkers anything goes challenge 115 (http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/2011/08/week-115-theme.html) as I have used both ProMarkers and the Letrajet. The flowers are coloured with a combination of airbrushing and glimmer mists. The sentiment is from Verve.

Hi Janine,
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog via your SCS card. REALLY love this card - coloured so beautifully and love the shape. Just signed up to follow you with Google - can't wait to see more of your cards.
Blogging is such fun and you will meet lots of other great bloggers. I've been blogging for a bit over a year and love Penny Black stamps.

Beautiful card. I've only just started out using Promarkers, hope I can eventually get to this level :)
