Mojo 340
Last Monday the new Mojo sketch went up and I knew I wanted to use it for a card. Well it is now Saturday and at last I managed to make my card using the cute Verve bunny I quite recently purchased. I have kept closely to the sketch.
This is the full view of my card
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter week.
High Hopes 213 - Hop Along 2
The bus I used to have to get to go to school or to Sutton for shopping was the 213 - you waited for ages and two came at once! Well you haven't had to wait for ages but I do have a second card for High Hopes challenge 213. This one features 2 hoppers - one on the front and one tucked inside.
Have a hoppy weekend!

High Hopes 213 - Hop Along
She needs to hold onto her hat but she is certainly a hopper - the requirement for the High Hopes challenge this week.
The image is from High Hopes, the sentiment from MFP and I used Spellbinders dies and a Martha Stewart border punch. Hope you are enjoying some spring sunshine.

March CCC14 and Jugs 235
OK I know it is over a week into April and these are my March target Christmas cards but at least I have started the 2014 stash!
I have already shown some made with negative die cuts and scraps and here are some more. The first one of this last group uses the Jugs sketch this week and some gold cellophane packaging that originally held our tea leaves - yes we use tea, a teapot and a tea strainer!
Christmas and Easter in 2 days - crazy I know!

FOSTV119 - Easter
I send quite a few Easter cards so made two for this week's FOSTV challenge. If you would like to join in the challenge you can find the details here. There will be a prize for one entrant.
My first card uses a cross cut with a die from a wood effect paper. I used 2 scraps of paper for the hill and the sky and cut them out with a new die from Memory Box. The "He is Risen" and "Peace" sentiments are from the newly released Easter set.
My second card is a bit of an experiment - I stamped the music, butterfly and tulips onto damp water colour paper. Not really my style but decided to turn it into a card none the less.
Thanks for looking and I hope your Easter preparations are going well. Have a great week.

Mojo339 & CCC14
It is still late for March CCC14 but this time using a take on the Mojo339 sketch. Again I am using negative die cuts and scraps plus backgrounds made with stamps and stencils.
Snowflakes were cut with Spellbinders die and tiny punch.

Pretend it is still March!
Seem to be running behind lately with my non design team creating and the VLV sketches for March and CCC have both lost out.
This post includes a few CCC cards - others are still works in progress.
The March challenge for CCC was to use recycled items so I browsed around and little inspiration hit. I had been turning out my over full scrap trays though so saved a few negative die cuts before they hit the bin and combined these with some Spellbinders ornaments cut from recycled silver card - I think it was in a Christmas gift package behind some bottles. I do have some silver on one side and gold on the other rescued from some salmon packs but I can't find it!!! I also grabbed an image from a tin of bits that have been coloured that never made it to cards - every now and then a few hit the bin and some turn into cards. I made some background papers with distress inks, sprays, stencils and stamps and also raided the Christmas paper scraps.
Well enough rambling from me here are the cards
Hope your week is going well.
