This one really was last minute. Having been in France for a dear friends funeral I have had plenty to catch up with yesterday and today so tonight this was whipped up. Despite the rush I hope you like it.
The sketch is VLV June week 4 and the image is from Lili of the Valley (LOTV). Copics were used for colouring. The background uses Spellbinders Dies and the fish tail banner die is from MFT.
Wishing you some nice moments with friends.

VLV June Week 1
I made this card over a week ago but forgot the image was still in my camera and never made it to a post. It was only when I checked out my blog that I realised I had only made one VLV post for June and the deadline is tonight!
Well this is my card for week 1 and with a careful use of vellum I allowed my little cutie to be on show.
The image is Maggie with Flowers from Sugar Nellie. She is coloured with Copics.
Thanks for looking.

VLV June Week 2
This is my card for week 2 of VLV for June. I made a gate fold card and used the wheel to act as a stabiliser when the card is opened. When I find the stamp I used I will add the details. The image is coloured with pencils.

Sadness / Relief
Today has been quite a day!
I had an interview this morning - first face to face job interview with people I didn't know for about 27 years. It seemed to go OK and my plan was to come home and have some fun in my craft room.
Sadly I have had to make a bereavement card as Dave took a call about the passing of a friend not long after I got home. Our friend "Brim" (real name Glynn) has been battling cancer for some time and has been in tremendous pain so in some ways it is relief for both him and his wife Wendy. My heart goes out to her - they were a couple when I first knew them about 38 years ago. In recent years they have lived in France so we have not seen them. Glynn was the one who took me out for a test drive in my first car and he was also the one who teased me incessantly about using tissue in my clothes when I packed to stop them creasing when we went on a canal boat trip with them before we even had a car. He was also so precise in his DIY - all the screw heads had to be in the same direction - I hope my gem positioning is OK!!!
I have very loosely interpreted Week 3 sketch for VLVJun2013 and used Verve stamps.
Thanks for looking.
