FOSTV156 - Easter Card

I have switched from snowmen and Christmas cards to Easter today.  Our Friends challenge over at Speedy TV is Easter Cards and we would love you to join us.

My card uses dies and the Works of Art stamp set and the sentiment from the Easter stamp set, both from MFP Stamp Shop.  Our challenge page shows the cards made by the whole team so don't forget to check it out.

Thanks for looking - have a good week.

VLVFeb2014 Week 3 Sketch, Inspiration and Prickley Pear

Today I have another VLV February sketch to share with you.  This one is the sketch and inspiration one which I have turned into an Easter card.

The stamps and most of the dies are from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps and are from a prize I won recently on their blog.  Such a generous prize which I am thrilled to own.

Thanks for looking

Happy Christmas Mum

Thanks to Angie Bode I recently visited Prickley Pear stamps and found 2 lovely dog stamps - a Golden Retriever and a Springer Spaniel which you can see here.  I have also been seeing lots of wreaths created by Kittie Caracciolo so I tried one on this card for my Mum.  It is a big card 7" square but I wanted to make something worthwhile with this image which I have coloured to look like Mum's maniac Tess.
I used dies to cut the ring, a holly punch and a Martha Stewart punch on the greenery.  Red pearls were added for holly berries.

Thank you for looking - have a peaceful Sunday.
