Guest Designer for Splitcoaststamper Color Challenge

For the remainder of January I get to be a guest designer for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge.

You can find this weeks challenge here

As the colours this week are silver, powder pink and red and the dessert option is hearts I decided it would be a good time to make a valentine card. My image is a digital one from Graciellie Designs and my valentine sentiment is from Power Poppy.

Thanks for looking and have a great week

Power Poppy Easter colouring

Having enjoyed colouring the Power Poppy image as part of February's Kit and Clowder class (see previous post) I decided to colour another couple for Easter cards. I used some of the techniques I learned in the class and applied them to the lilies. I used Copics for colouring and added a little Prismacolor pencil to the top image.

Kit and Clowder Colouring Class - Feb 2018

I so enjoyed the challenge of colouring this image. It is one from Power Poppy. It pushed me out of my comfort zone again, particularly the glass and woodgrain but I am quite pleased with the result. I have a smaller version printed which I intend to colour up differently and turn into a card.

Catching up on my Christmas Cards - April

I seem to have spent plenty of time playing catch up with the CCC17 challenges. Here are all my April cards nearly all featuring some kind of creature

May Birthday Flowers

I posted a photo of this card up to Splitcoaststampers last night but in a single photp I was unable to show the little tag very clearly so decided to pop it up onto my blog as well. The images from Power Poppy were printed out and coloured with Copics. I used Distress Oxide inks on the background - Peeled Paint and Broken China. A recent card posted by Robin (Stamperrobin) gave me the pocket idea for this card. It will hit the post in the morning.

The Class of 2015

I used the Power Poppy digitial snowman for a whole class of cards for my students. I only actually need 14 cards for my evening students but I was on a roll and ended up with 19 cards. Used a variety of Copics to colour them and therefore a selection of different papers. They are all written and will be given out this week and next.
