I gave this card to my niece on Sunday when we went over to give their Christmas presents and see their flat. We spent a lovely couple of hours with them, walking in the grounds, enjoying tea and fighting to win chocolate from a mini fairground grabber machine.
I bought the stamp at a recent craft class - it is from Stamping Bella. Card is a little crazy but I hope she likes it!

Lauren & Nick
I am sure this card must have got there by now so I believe I am free to post it here. It was mailed to Lauren (our niece) at home but I am sure she and Nick have both seen it by now. The card may not be as romantic as the proposal but I tried hard
They went to Paris for Lauren's Birthday and the question was popped at the top of the Eiffel Tower. What a great place - Paris was where we went on Honeymoon all those years ago!
Lauren loves her music and sings beautifully and is a primary school teacher. Nick is a music teacher in Secondary schools and plays in a couple of bands.
My card uses a new embossing folder by Spellbinders that Dave bought me for Christmas and some older images from Katzelkraft. The sentiment is computer generated but on this and the Paris I used more than one colour as per the TLC515 challenge. The word Love is a Penny Black die and the hearts border is made with Spellbinders dies. I started with sketch SC522 but felt the urge to tilt my panel and I will be entering this at Word Art Wednesday - anything goes.
Hope they have a great life together.

Star Pupil
I had a text from my niece on Tuesday telling me that she was one happy girl - she just found out that she has received a BA with honours level 2:1. She has been studying Music and Drama for the last 3 years in Bath. She loves it down in Bath and is working down there until she starts a teaching course in September.
This card uses the sketch with a twist over at MFP Speedy TV along with this weeks Jugs challenge to use stars and sparkle. Girly colours (Cath Kidston ish) are in order for this special event. The numbers and stars are die cut along with the rectangle and circle. I stamped butterflies all over the blue paper and added bling and Stickles to the numbers.

Lauren Payne was 21 yesterday
How time flies. This cute little babe that I held at 1 day old turned 21 yesterday. Lauren is our niece, studying music and drama in Bath. A very accomplished performer on the outside but a girly girl within who still loves cute bears, pretty colours, and Playmobil. Much like the rest of us in a lot of ways where we substitute Playmobil for rubber stamps and crafting items.
Her Mum told her they were going for a Happy Meal and then to the park to play on the swings and then feed the ducks to celebrate yesterday but I think they went into London for a meal and a show.
I made two cards for her - one from her Nan and one from us. The one from us has the drama / music on the outside but her 'other side' on the inside. The digital sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs and the stamp is from Butterfly Kisses. I hope a digital sentiment is enough for WT354 challenge.
The greeting is computer generated and the stamp is from Lili of the Valley.
The card for my Mum to give her is the one below. It uses Tatty Teddy and papers from the Me to You collection.
Lauren - if you are reading this - May God bless your future and bring you and those you love happiness.
