It is right at the end of October but at least I got the CCC15 cards for October actually made in October! Nothing fancy just simply styled cards.
Have a great weekend and thanks for looking.

CCC15 for September - lots of snowflakes
Had a busy day cooking and even made my Christmas cake so thought it was about time I added my Christmas cards for CCC15 for September up on Splitcoast and my blog. They are all fairly simple and mostly include snowflakes as per September's theme.
Thanks for popping by.

OLW - Enjoy the beauty
One Layer Wednesday challenge from last week is to make a card that represents what you do on a snowy day.
Now where I live in the UK we don't get many snowy days but what I do love to do if I get the chance is appreciate the quietness and the beauty. When we were in MN with friends for Christmas 2010 I got to do exactly that - this was a gorgeous day by the St Croix River.
My card whilst not with the same intensity of blue sky, and with the addition of some deer is a little reminder of that time. The image is from Hero Arts and the sentiment from Marks Finest Papers.
I hope you can stop and take the time to enjoy the beauty of something today. God bless.

USA / UK Celebration
This card is for a Wedding in the USA for someone with English connections - red, white and blue is therefore correct for both. It uses an image from Lili of the Valley with a Hero Arts background cling stamp. I had a bow and a ribbon to add but decided to leave them off as it needs to be mailed and thickness could be an issue and the simple gems I think added enough without detracting from the central panel.
I am entering the card in this week's Sentimental Sundays challenge to be patriotic. Thank you for looking and have a good week.

Actions speak louder than words - 1 John 3:18
The challenge at Stampin Sisters in Christ is all about actions and God's love showing through them. I have had this Hero Arts stamp in the drawer for some time but it remained un-inked until today. I am sure with a group of children there is plenty of action in their dancing. I know this should be a May image but with the strange weather we are having it could almost be April!
The image is stamped with Black Versafine and Distress Markers are used to add the touches of colour. The flower is made with the smallest bitty blossoms die - yes I am trying to work these out - this is my first attempt!
May your dancing be this happy!

Rose Tinted Winter Wonderland
I bought this Hero Arts stamp when I last visited the Glitter Pot in Sussex. I thought I would use it on lots of cards but so far this is the only one - mind you I have more ideas than time right now! The card is simple and uses this week's CTD colours. I wouldn't normally use a pink sky for Christmas so I have deliberately gone for something different. The image is embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is from Verve.
